Feb 14, 2022 9:20 AM

Cooper Kupp capped off his historic 2021 season with 92 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score, to earn MVP honors in Super Bowl LVI.

The Los Angeles Rams edged the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 on Sunday night. Matthew Stafford delivered the winning strike to Kupp with 1:25 left in regulation.

Kupp had to carry more of a load after Odell Beckham, Jr. suffered a knee injury in the first half. He became only the second player to win the receiving triple crown, NFL Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl MVP, joining Jerry Rice.

Aaron Rodgers Wins 2021 NFL MVP Award

Feb 12, 2022 9:13 AM

Aaron Rodgers won his fourth career NFL MVP and his second consecutive one on Thursday evening. Rodgers has now won MVP for the 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Only Peyton Manning has won five MVPs, and it was Manning who handed Rodgers the award onstage at the NFL Honors awards show in Los Angeles.

"They're all different," he said. "The first one was really, really special because we came off winning the Super Bowl and I had my best season to date that next year. It seemed like we were a juggernaut chugging along and going to win another one. That obviously didn't happen. The divisional round disappointment. But they've all been unique in their own ways. I think the latest one always feels the sweetest."

Rodgers received 39 votes while Tom Brady received 10 and Cooper Krupp received one.
